Hi all, I'm an Irish male massage therapist in London based in Hackney Central. I have over 15 years of experience in massage therapy. I am trained in 3 types of massage - Tui Na therapy, Physiotherapy in Sport, and Ayurvedic therapy.

Tui Na is very similar to Shiatsu (more well-known) massage. As a branch of Chinese medicine, it uses acupressure points as a "deep tissue" technique for a massage focusing on pain relief and regaining mobility but also unblocking meridian lines to rebalance energy levels. It is very effective for treating chronic back pain, postural problems, sciatic pain, shoulder pain, migraines etc. It is also highly complementary to any physio or osteopathic treatments.

Physio / Sports massage is an anatomy-based massage and exercises session. It is similar to Tui Na in terms of focusing on pain relief and regaining general mobility. There are softer techniques and exercises such as myofascial release that can be great for treating old/new sports related injuries and correcting them. Great also for finding ways of correcting bad posture and finding mobility to relive and cope with pain.

Ayurvedic massage is part of a larger, ancient Indian, Ayurvedic practice of healthy living. The massage technique uses oils on the body and head and aims to achieve total relaxation and a rebalancing of the body and mind. It is an excellent relaxation and de-stress massage.

I establish every person's needs and goals before each session, then create a tailor made sequence based on their needs. I am likely to incorporate techniques from different massage styles in one session ranging from deep or soft tissue, cupping, moxa sticks, myofascial release, and some light manipulation to promote good mobility and realignment for better posture.

I take Onsites in cosy and calm treatment room in Hackney, London. I speak ENG/FR/ESP/PRT.

1st appt 1hr 70£. Follow up appts 1hr - 60£, 90 minutes - 100£, 2h - 150£.
