My name is Abel. I'm a BTEC Level 5-qualified sports and remedial massage therapist here in Redcar, North Yorkshire. I have over 20 years of experience. I have worked in Portugal and England in both physio clinics and spas. I have worked with people with a variety of injuries or recovering from surgery, including hip and knee replacements.My interest in rehabilitating the body through therapeutic massage started when I experienced massage as an Olympic wrestler in Portugal. For 21 years, I put my body through lots of stress, and the massage and mobilisation treatment I received eased the pain and enabled me to keep going.
I completed my training in Portugal in 2008 and went on to work in one of Lisbon's Physio Clinics, Movifisica, treating people with all kinds of injuries.
